Best winter wishes to you all - Happy New Year 2012

The year will end in few days, best winter wishes to you all.

Happy New Year 2012.

The best gifts under the Xmas tree

The twins make my Mom very happy, they are bringing something new to her life, I think they are kind of just like the organic toys to great grandma. :))

Overwhelming by the gifts & cash? Not me.

My Xmas was fine, besides my old Mom was with me , I also had visitors every day for 4 days, after I have handed off the gifts & cash to others, and feed the others, now I just need a break... I really like to have one.

I have tried to find this artist for years, but no success. If any of you know who the artist is please let me know.

A little heaven garden ...

I did it during our company's Annual meeting day 2. Sorry, I just can not let the sweet dream go ... a tiny warm spot in my heart.

It's just a dream of the garden,
it so magical and so peaceful,
It just a little sweet dream in the winter,
the very thought of the garden, my love & my little heaven.

Japanese Maple tree

Japanese Maple has been cultivated in Japan for centuries and in temperate areas around the world since the 1800s. The first specimen of the tree reached England in 1820.

I planted one Japanese maple tree in my backyard 12 years ago, it is so gorgeous during this time of the year, I can see it from my Kitchen window. Somehow this tree can bring some warmness to me heart every time I look it.  I love the tree.

Maurizio Cattelan’s middle finger displayed in front of Milan Stock Exchange…

From designboom:   The most recent and much discussed artwork by maurizio cattelan arrived Sep.28 2010 in milan’s piazza affari, in front of the italian stock exchange building. the controversial monument is made in marble, about 4 meters high and has been allocated on a base that brings the sculpture to a total height of 11 meters. during the making process, the famed italian artist changed the title from ‘omnia munda mundis’ – literally meaning ‘to the pure [men], all things [are] pure’, a latin sentence that has entered a relatively common usage in many countries – to ‘L.O.V. E.’

Major downpour in Rome

It was a afternoon with the major downpour in Rome, the subway because closed due to the heavy rain. However, the old city is still so beautifully doesn't matter what.

(The memory photo shoots from my trip to Rome in Oct.2001 )

Retrieved By Charlotte Dumas

Immediately following the attacks of 9/11, nearly 100 trained search dogs and their handlers--enlisted from 18 U.S. states--were deployed by FEMA to join the rescue efforts at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Alongside firemen and other teams sorting through the debris, the dogs worked tirelessly around the clock to locate survivors in the rubble--images of which intrigued Dutch photographer Charlotte Dumas as the events unfolded in the media. One decade later, discovering that only 15 of these dogs were still alive, Dumas succeeded in tracking each of them down, visiting and photographing the dogs at their homes throughout the U.S., where they all still live with their handlers. Composed at close range in natural light, Dumas' portraits--reproduced here in a thoughtfully designed paperback volume with Japanese binding--offer an intimate view into the everyday lives of these animals, now sharing the vulnerability of old age as they once pursued a common heroic goal.

Look the faces, How you can not love them ?

Picasso's art in de Young

June 11, 2011 - October 10, 2011

The de Young hosts an extraordinary exhibition of more than 100 masterpieces by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso (1881–1973) from the permanent collection of Paris’s world-renowned Musée National Picasso. The once-in-a-lifetime exhibition, made possible only because of the temporary closure of the Musée Picasso until 2012 for extensive renovations, comprises paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints drawn from every phase of the artist’s career.
I glad I went, even tooooooo many people there, I still enjoyed.

Stay off Trail - Jack London State Park

Walked by myself in Jack London's park,  my favor trail is closed due to the wasps. Because I always love this little trial in the woods, I decided still walk on this trail. Luckily I did not have problem with the wasps, however I might not do this again in case I will not have the same luck second time around.

The Wolf House.

Enjoy the walk alone and the Sonoma County's marvelous weather.
